Nate Landwehr vs. Dooho Choi
Best odds on Landwehr to win the fight: Pinnacle (-133)
Best odds on Choi to win the fight: Pinnacle (+116)
Kicking off the main card of UFC 310 with a banger between two thrilling featherweight fighters, Nate “The Train” Landwehr will take on Dooho “The Korean Superboy” Choi.
Both combatants have a history of throwing caution to the wind and letting sparks fly inside the Octagon as they hunt for a fast finish, but look for the heavy hands of Landwehr to prove too dangerous as he scores a knockout victory against Choi.
Having suffered knockout losses in two of his last four outings in the Octagon, Choi’s chin has begun to show some wear-and-tear after 20 pro fights. Inversely, Landwehr seems to be impossible to finish, and able to absorb a tremendous amount of damage and still come back swinging.
Coming off of a first-round knockout victory against Jamal Emmers, look for the Train to keep on chugging to stardom as he sets the crowd ablaze with a highlight-reel showing against Choi.
Prediction: Landwehr to win by KO/TKO/DQ (+350 @ Betway)
Bryce Mitchell vs. Kron Gracie
Best odds on Mitchell to win the fight: bet365 (-800)
Best odds on Gracie to win the fight: Pinnacle (+613)
A somewhat odd placement on a stacked card overall for two fighters coming off of brutal losses, #13 Bryce “Thug Nasty” Mitchell will take on Kron Gracie.
In a battle between two skilled grapplers, this bout is sure to wind up going to the judges’ scorecards one way or another. While it may be somewhat of a stalemate on the ground between the two fighters, look for the overall MMA skillset of Mitchell to provide him with the winning edge.
While Kron comes from the legendary Gracie family, his reliance on jiu-jitsu with virtually zero standup striking ability or top control wrestling makes him a super flawed fighter. Watch as Mitchell simply has too many tools in his arsenal for Gracie to handle as Thug Nasty gets back into the win column and hands the Gracie disciple his third straight loss.
Prediction: Mitchell to Win by Decision (-175 @ bet365)
Ciryl Gane vs. Alexander Volkov
Best odds on Gane to win the fight: Sports Interaction (-350)
Best odds on Volkov to win the fight: Pinnacle (+299)
In a rematch from their headlining fight from 2021, surging heavyweight contenders will come to a collision course as #2 Ciryl “Bon Gamin” Gane takes on #3 Alexander “Drago” Volkov. While it was Gane who was able to pull out the decision victory against Volkov in their first meeting, look for the script to be flipped in this rematch as Volkov gets the nod on the judges’ scorecards.
Hot off the heels of an impressive showing against Sergei Pavlovich, Volkov appears to be at an all-time best in his career, using his staggering six-foot-seven frame to his full advantage. With his skills seemingly only getting better, this could catch the lackadaisical Gane slipping, resulting in a strong showing in favour of the Russian.
At a juicy +500, bank on Volkov to pull off the major upset against Gane, evening the score at one fight apiece, and propelling himself back into title contention with the victory.
Prediction: Volkov to Win by Decision (+500 @ bet365)
Shavkat Rakhmonov vs. Ian Machado Garry
Best odds on Rakhmonov to win the fight: Betway (-350)
Best odds on Garry to win the fight: Pinnacle (+303)
Set to be the fight of the night, the co-main event of UFC 310 promises to be an all-out war as undefeated welterweight contenders #3 Shavkat “Nomad” Rakhmonov takes on #7 Ian Machado Garry.
In what will be the biggest matchup between undefeated fighters in UFC history in terms of total wins (surpassing Adesanya vs. Costa from UFC 253), look for Rakhmonov to keep his “0”, knocking out the Irishman to cement himself as the next in line for a world title shot.
With 18 straight wins, all coming by way of finish, there’s not a more dangerous fighter in MMA than Rakhmonov. While Garry is no slouch inside the Octagon, he has struggled at times in the UFC, while Rakhmonov has been a dominant force since the get-go.
Having seen his chin cracked in several matchups, look for Rakhmonov to let his hands go as he hunts for the finishing blow against Garry. This oncoming pressure will simply be too much for Garry to handle, as he won’t be able to rely on his grappling against Rakhmonov who is the superior wrestler as well.
In a battle between two of the best welterweights in the world, look for Rakhmonov to prove that there are levels to the fight game, adding Garry as his latest addition to his highlight reel, earning his ninth pro win by knockout.
Prediction: Rakhmonov to Win by KO/TKO/DQ (+275 @ bet365)

Alexandre Pantoja vs. Kai Asakura
Best odds on Pantoja to win the fight: Sports Interaction (-250)
Best odds on Asakura to win the fight: Pinnacle (+212)
Set to close the show of UFC 310, we have an intriguing main event scheduled as (C) Alexandre “The Cannibal” Pantoja defends his flyweight title against the debuting Kai Asakura. While Asakura has built a name for himself in Japan as a lethal finisher in RIZIN, look for his UFC tenure to begin with a loss as he’s bested by Pantoja in Saturday’s main event.
Having fought at bantamweight for the majority of his career, Asakura hasn’t had a fight at flyweight since 2019, a bout in which he suffered a knockout loss to Je Joon Moon. While his knockout power coupled with a three-inch height and two-inch reach advantage will serve him well, this could wind up being a poorly booked matchup.
Pantoja has essentially cleared out the entire UFC flyweight division, having beaten every top contender in the division during his current six-fight win streak that led him to UFC gold. Even while giving up size, the grappling skills of Pantoja are sure to give him a distinct advantage.
A great example of how this fight may play out is through a rewatch of Pantoja’s title defence against Brandon Royval, a dangerous striker that held a major size advantage over the champion. In this bout, Pantoja was able to avoid taking any unnecessary damage by controlling the fight on the ground and labelling repeated ground strikes as he cruised to a decision victory.
Pairing this with his otherworldly toughness and history of excelling over the course of a five-round matchup, look for Pantoja to spoil the debut of Asakura as he defends his title for the third consecutive time, netting himself a win by decision.
Prediction: Pantoja to Win by Decision (+350 @ 888sport)
