It’s another week in National Hockey League action, and with that comes another look at the schedule! Every Monday, Canada Sports Betting, with a little help from our friends at NorthStar Bets, dives into the NHL schedule, breaks it down by the day, and looks at all the rest day scenarios involved. Favourites and home-ice advantage are two things that already get lots of attention, but an extra day or two off can make all the difference.
Let’s dive into this week’s action.
NHL Games on Monday, November 27th

NHL Games on Sunday, December 3rd
Rest | Away Team | Time | Home Team | Rest |
---|---|---|---|---|
0 | Chicago Blackhawks | 2:00 PM | Minnesota Wild | 2 |
1 | San Jose Sharks | 6:00 PM | New York Rangers | 0 |

0 | Nashville Predators | 7:00 PM | Buffalo Sabres | 0 |
0 | Colorado Avalanche | 8:00 PM | Los Angeles Kings | 3 |
Rest Notes: A relatively lazy Sunday, and every game but one is a mismatch of some sort – and that outlier is a double back-to-back. Los Angeles having three rest days more than the back-to-back Avalanche while also having home ice is a particularly favourable look.
