We’re just hours away from one of the most historic boxing matches of all time as Jake Paul and Mike Tyson are set to clash at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Friday night in an event that will stream live on Netflix.
Online sportsbooks are reporting a flurry of action ahead of the fight, with the general consensus that the public is heavily backing the 58-year-old Tyson, who is currently sitting at around a +200 underdog.

BetMGM is reporting that Tyson vs. Paul is already a wildly popular event at the sportsbook, even with several hours to go for bets to pour in.
“The Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight is on track to be the most bet boxing match in BetMGM history. We are starting to see action on Paul but Tyson is still popular with bettors. The worst result would be a first-round knockout by Iron Mike.” BetMGM Senior Trader Alex Rella said in an email release to Canada Sports Betting on Friday afternoon.
Some of the most-bet props for the fight at BetMGM include:

- Mike Tyson on points (+1100)
- Mike Tyson to win in Round 1 (+1400)
DraftKings is reporting similar splits, with the public heavily backing Tyson in multiple betting markets.
Caesars, meanwhile, is reporting via social media that 65% of the money is on Paul to win the fight, but 86% of the tickets are on Tyson to be victorious.
This is a sanctioned fight that wiill count towards both men’s official boxing records, and the rules have been modified to allow for two-minute rounds instead of the customary three-minute rounds. Both boxers will also be wearing 14-ounce gloves, which should be slightly harder to hurt an opponent with than 10-ounce gloves, which are typically used in sanctioned heavyweight fights. These modifications have obviously been made to accommodate, and level the playing field, for Tyson who is 31 years older than Paul.
Tyson has a career record of 50-6 with 44 knockouts. He started his career with 37 wins before his first loss and had 33 knockouts in that span.
Paul holds a 10-1 record with seven knockouts in his career. His lone loss came via a split decision to Tommy Fury in February 2023.
The streaming event will begin at 8 p.m. ET, but there are six other fights on the card before Paul and Tyson are featured in the main event, which will likely get started around 11 p.m. ET.
