Utah Jazz’ Odds

The widget below shows the latest details on the Jazz’s next game. The betting odds from the best sportsbook are provided. Check for any last-minute updates before betting.

The team matches will be displayed here once available

Originally established as the New Orleans Jazz in 1974, the franchise relocated to Salt Lake City to become the Utah Jazz in 1979. After initial struggles, the franchise made 20 consecutive playoff appearances between 1984 to 2003 on the backs of Karl Malone, John Stockton, and head coach, Jerry Sloan. They made back-to-back NBA Finals appearances and won eight division titles. Since Sloan’s departure in 2011, however, the Jazz has struggled. You can see this reflected in the Utah Jazz odds to make the playoffs. Bettors should take note this new Jazz will take time to become elite again.

Utah Jazz’ Standings

This is where the Jazz stands in today’s NBA season. Conference and division standings are separated here. Winning streaks, points for (+) and points against (-) are posted as well. These will have a direct effect on Utaha Jazz Vegas odds for the title.

Bet On Utah Jazz’ Games

To bet on NBA and Utah Jazz games, check your sportsbook for the types of lines they offer. Keep an eye on all types of Utah Jazz betting odds. A very popular one is the American money line, which will show minus and plus numbers indicating a favourite and underdog. The minus number shows how much you need to bet to win $100. -150 means you need $150 to win $100. A plus number indicates how much you win when you bet $100. +130 means you win $130 on a $100 bet.

Dynamic duos: between 1984 to 2003, the Jazz made the NBA playoffs thanks to the pair of the point guard, John Stockton and power forward, Karl Malone. The Utah Jazz playoff odds have not been the same since. Their pick-and-roll game was hard to stop. A few seasons later, the Jazz was also blessed with another all-star point guard-power forward combo in Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer as the Jazz made four consecutive playoff appearances. Since 2010 however, the Jazz have lacked this same combination and haven’t been able to rekindle the same success.

Stay sharp: as of 2016, the Jazz has only had nine losing seasons in their 37-year history in Utah. Even when the Jazz doesn’t make the playoffs, they stay competitive to a degree and remain the only NBA team with no 60-loss season. Even if the Jazz appears like a live underdog, however, their games tend to be lined accurately. Since 2011, the Jazz has won 72.4 percent of the time as a favourite and only 28.8 percent of the time as an underdog.

Low-scoring Jazz: another thing consistent with the Jazz is how they manage to keep games lower scoring than anticipated. Not every Jazz team is an elite defensive team, but since 2011, Jazz games go under the expected team totals 54.7 percent of the time. Try betting this type of play where you are only expected to predict whether the total score between the Jazz and their opponent goes over or under the provided number.
