The 2025 Oscar odds are out, and it’s almost time to roll out the red carpet for the 97th Academy Awards! The Oscars kick off at 7:00 p.m. EST on March 2, 2025, at the Dolby Theatre hosted by Conan O’Brien, and, as bettors, we couldn’t be more excited to win alongside this year’s nominees! Anora, with -350, has edged out The Brutalist (+400), which is still widely regarded as this year’s film to beat despite being described as a “difficult,” or rather “brutal,” film to watch with a beast of a runtime. With films like Emilia Pérez, Anora and Conclave, it’s doubtful Wicked or The Substance will crack the top spot for Best Picture—but wow, do we ever have some phenomenal female leads being recognized at the 2025 Oscars! It’s not looking great for Dune: Part Two, I’m Still Here, and Nickel Boys, but if you’re hoping to make bank by betting on the underdog, your winnings would be huge if you bet on any of these titles—and they somehow beat out the top Best Picture nominees.

Oscars Best Director Odds 2025

Following the life of a young Russian-American stripper, Anora has received numerous nominations, including Best Director. Sean Baker (Anora) is the current frontrunner across sportsbooks with -138. Best Actor Odds

Have you been hitting the gym? Because Adrien Brody’s performance spanning decades as a Holocaust survivor, recovering addict, and SA survivor is fricken heavy. At -350, Adrien Brody is the current favourite and vying for his second win in the Best Actor category; however, the film’s use of AI to enhance Adrien Brody’s Hungarian accent might hurt his chances for Best Actor. If this is the case, Timothée Chalamet is in the perfect position to win his first Oscar after packing on 20lbs and flexing his vocal chops in his role as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown.

Ralph Fiennes, in the religious conspiracy book-adaptation Conclave, and Colman Domingo, who portrays a real-life former inmate who brought the joy of theatre to his fellow inmates in the prison drama Sing Sing, find themselves in the middle of the pack. Concluding the Best Actor odds, Sebastian Stan stars as a young Donald Trump in The Apprentice with the help of movie magic and bad hair dye.

Best Actress Odds

Demi Moore (The Substance) winning Best Actress is in almost everyone’s Oscars 2025 predictions after her heartfelt acceptance speech at the Golden Globes, which set the narrative for her victory. After 45 years in Hollywood, Demi Moore has received her first nominations (and awards!) for her performance in The Substance, and all eyes will be on her this awards season as Demi Moore goes for a clean sweep at the Oscars, BAFTA, and SAG Awards. Wanna know who else is going for a clean sweep? Mikey Madison, Anora star, has received more awards for her breakout role as Anora than Simone Biles and Usain Bolt’s combined Olympic metals.

Continuing with Best Actress odds, Fernanda Torres (I’m Still Here) currently has +1600—but since its nomination, this Portuguese film has seen a surge in viewership, which will likely affect Fernanda Torres’ odds as I’m Still Here grows in popularity. With Demi Moore and Mikey Madison in the mix, it’s unlikely Cynthia Erivo, Wicked lead, will receive more than her nomination for Best Actress, which is an honour. This is also a huge year for the LGBTQ+ community with Karla Sofía Gascón’s incredible performance in Emilia Pérez leading to a nomination as the first openly transgender nominee for acting.

Best Supporting Actor Odds

When you bet on the Oscars, be sure to compare odds to score a solid edge this awards season, especially when it comes to Edward Norton as the sportsbooks are divided on his odds. But most bookmakers agree on Jeremy Strong’s odds, who is this year’s underdog and biggest surprise nomination (sorry, Denzel).
