NHL Games on Monday, Dec. 11
Rest | Away Team | Time | Home Team | Rest |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Arizona Coyotes | 7:00 PM (ET) | Buffalo Sabres | 1 |
1 | Toronto Maple Leafs | 7:00 PM | New York Islanders | 1 |
1 | Detroit Red Wings | 8:00 PM | Dallas Stars | 1 |
1 | Calgary Flames | 9:30 PM | Colorado Avalanche | 1 |
Rest Notes: Everyone is playing even here, at least from a rest perspective. Each team’s last game was on Saturday, with a day off in between. If one team has a disadvantage based on workload it would be the Dallas Stars, who are playing their fourth game in six nights.
NHL Games on Tuesday, Dec. 12
Rest | Away Team | Time | Home Team | Rest |
---|---|---|---|---|
0 | Toronto Maple Leafs | 7:00 PM | New York Rangers | 1 |
2 | Carolina Hurricanes | 7:00 PM | Ottawa Senators | 2 |
0 | Arizona Coyotes | 7:00 PM | Pittsburgh Penguins | 3 |
2 | Philadelphia Flyers | 8:00 PM | Nashville Predators | 1 |
0 | Detroit Red Wings | 8:00 PM | St. Louis Blues | 2 |
1 | Florida Panthers | 10:00 PM | Seattle Kraken | 1 |
2 | Tampa Bay Lightning | 10:00 PM | Vancouver Canucks | 2 |
0 | Calgary Flames | 10:00 PM | Vegas Golden Knights | 1 |
1 | Chicago Blackhawks | 10:00 PM | Edmonton Oilers | 1 |
1 | Winnipeg Jets | 10:30 PM | San Jose Sharks | 1 |
Rest Notes: Quite a few mismatches here. Toronto, Arizona, Detroit, and Calgary are all playing their second game in as many nights, with the Coyotes having the biggest disadvantage of the field. Pittsburgh has three rest days on them – maybe that’s enough to lead to a power-play goal, finally? The Blackhawks are playing their third game in four nights, as are Vegas, Seattle, Nashville, and the Rangers.
